OPEN AIR EXHIBITS

Around the de museum buildings several tanks and armoured cars are on exhibit. Exept these tanks and armoured cars several other objects belong to the open air exhibit of the museum. Flanked by a Sherman Firefly tank and a Humber armoured car you can see to the right of the entrance to the barracks the monument to commemmorate the Cavalrymen that fell while on duty.
In the park to the right of the entrance is a life size statue of H.R.H. prince Bernhard clad in the uniform of captain (ritmeester) of the Cavalry in which he married. This statue is placed on the occasion of the 80th birthday of the prince. It was unveiled by H.R.M. princess Juliana.
